WHAT’S NEXT: Boise State men’s basketball will head to its only true non-conference road game on Saturday when the Broncos take on San Francisco. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. MT at War Memorial Gymnasium and will be available on ESPN+ and 670 KBOI AM.

THE OPPONENT: San Francisco (1-0) started the season with a win and hosts Boise State after the Broncos earned a 63-58 home win last year. Tyson Degenhart Led Boise State with 17 points in the contest and returns as the only starter from last year’s lineup.

STRONG START: The Broncos opened their season with an 87-43 victory over Oakland, a performance highlighted by 23 assists on 33 field goals and showcased their cohesive offense early in the season. Second semester Andrew Meadows scored a career-high 15 points, matching Stanley’s 15 points Alvaro Cardenas contributed six assists, underlining his role as a playmaker in his debut at Boise State.

MILESTONE WATCH: Alvaro Cardenas needs 30 more points to reach 1,000 points in his career. He began his career at San Jose State, where he scored 961 points in 97 career games.

ON THE WAY: Boise State, which has won three straight road games since last season, is seeking its first non-conference road win since December 2022. Last season, the Broncos were 7-3 in away contests.
