Chandler Kinney wowed the audience with her Viennese waltz, inspired by her nightmares, set to none other than Denmark + Winter’s iconic “Pretty Little Liars” theme song, “Secret.”

Judge Derek Hough And Bruno Tonioli were visibly impressed and each gave the duo a perfect score of 10. For Chandler and her partner, this was a new season. Brandon Armstrongwho hadn’t received a 10 before this performance.

However, Carrie Ann Inaba caused an uproar by giving Chandler a 9, declaring, “That wasn’t perfect.” She acknowledged that Chandler tackled some of the most complex choreography of the night, alongside Ilona Maher’s complicated tango, which she rated an 8 had taken.

After seeing Carrie Ann continue to score lower grades among female dancers than male dancers, social media users decided to take a stand and speak out via social media.

“At this point, Carrie Ann Inaba is just a certified hater,” said one “DWTS” fan.

“Carrie Ann Inaba will be asking technical questions with Chandler while Derek (the most technical judge there) won’t even point out the same things,” another expressed. “Oh my god, that’s kind of jealous.”

After Halloween night on “DWTS,” Chandler spoke to Carrie Ann in a post-show interview about her reviews and points Weekly entertainment.

“The judges really push me because they have high expectations,” she said. “I understand and accept the criticism.” But tonight it probably showed a bit, I was a bit frustrated because I wanted to know what to do. Otherwise, when I come to rehearsal, I’m a little lost.
