Charles Radtke scores a TKO victory in 51 seconds

Charles Radtke’s power proved too much for Matthew Semelsberger at UFC Fight Night 247, leading to a quick win.

Radtke (10-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) defeated Semelsberger (11-8 MMA, 5-6 UFC) early in the opening round of their welterweight bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and he didn’t let up there. He continued to put his hands on a stunned opponent until the referee stepped in and waved it off just 51 seconds into the fight.

Although it could be argued that the fight should have lasted longer, the decision was made to call it off. Check out the replay below (via X):

The result meant Semelsberger’s fourth defeat in a row in the octagon and the possible end of his advertising career. Meanwhile, Radtke made a promising recovery from his first UFC loss.

“How did you all like that damn knockout?” Radtke said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “Respect to Matt, by the way. I thought I was going to come in here and have a dog fight for 15 minutes, but I put the dog down.”
