Chloe Fineman says Elon Musk made Saturday Night Live members cry

Saturday Night Live Cast member Chloe Fineman rolls her eyes at Elon Musk’s recent criticism of the show, revealing that the Tesla CEO was the host who made the cast – including her – cry.

Fineman’s co-star Bowen Yang revealed over the summer that an unnamed host made several cast members cry because he “hated” their ideas. In a now-deleted TikTok posted on Monday, Fineman identified Musk – who hosted in May 2021 – as the host in question after he trashed Dana Carvey’s impression of him this weekend, saying the show had been “slowly dying out for years” .

Fineman explained on TikTok that Musk is “clearly haunting the show” and “I’m going to come out and say I’m the performer he made cry. He’s the presenter who made someone cry. I saw some articles and stuff and I thought, ‘I’m not going to say anything.’ But I say, “No.” If you go on your platform and be rude…”

Fineman said Musk left her “in tears” after she “stayed up all night” writing a skit for him, only for him to react badly to it. “I was so excited, I walked in, I asked if you had any questions and you stared at me like you were going to fire me from Tesla and said, ‘That’s not funny,'” Musk said, then ” “I didn’t laugh once,” Fineman recalls.

“Be a little manners here, sir,” the comedian said. Although Fineman did not specify which sketch she wrote, she is credited (along with other cast members) as a writer on “The Ooli Show” (see below).

As a result after the election of SNLCast members Yang, Kenan Thompson, Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Marcello Hernandez and Colin Jost have jokingly pandered to Donald Trump after his presidential election victory over Kamala Harris, claiming they have supported him “all along.” Carvey, who posed as President Joe Biden during the presidential campaign, debuted an impersonation of Musk, one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, at the end of the skit.

“See you at the White House,” Carvey’s Musk declared, jumping up and down to mock the billionaire’s viral campaign appearance in Pennsylvania.
