Class II recall for nearly 80,000 pounds of Costco Kirkland Signature Butter

If you’ve been buying butter at Costco lately, it’s time to check your refrigerator.

In early October, the FDA issued an initial recall for Kirkland Signature butter, manufactured by Continental Dairy Facilities Southwest LLC. The recall affects 79,200 pounds of butter due to an undeclared allergen. According to the FDA, packages of both salted and unsalted Kirkland Signature Sweet Cream Butter list cream as an ingredient, but may not contain the “contains milk” allergy warning visible on the packaging.
