Cooper Flagg faces a big test. Here’s what’s next for Duke men’s basketball

Cooper Flagg made his official debut with the Duke men’s basketball team on November 4, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 96-62 win over the University of Maine. Flagg had his first collegiate double-double in a 100-58 win over Army on Friday, scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while also totaling three assists, three blocks and two steals.

Notable: The No. 7 Blue Devils face the Wildcats in the State Farm Champions Classic in Atlanta. Kentucky is 2-0 after blowout wins over Wright State (103-62) and Bucknell (100-72). Koby Brea (19.0) and Otega Oweh (15.5) led Kentucky in scoring, while Amari Williams (12.5 points, 13.5 rebounds) posted double-doubles in both games.

Notable: The Terriers (1-1) have made all five NCAA Tournament appearances since 2010. Wofford did it in 2010, ’11, ’14, ’15 and ’19 and won its only tournament game against Seton Hall in 2019. The schools have played twice, in 2014 and 2019, with Duke winning both times.
