County Farm Road was closed near the county headquarters due to an accident

County Farm Road in Wheaton is closed between Manchester and Jewell roads while Wheaton police investigate a crash.

They say it happened near the DuPage County government complex and someone suffered serious injuries.

Southbound County Farm will be detoured to Winfield Road and then Roosevelt Road. Northbound County Farm will be detoured west on Manchester to Winfield and then north to Geneva Road.

The east side of the government complex remains open. The west side is accessible to authorized vehicles from County Farm and Jewell.

The closure is expected to last several hours.
