Cynthia Erivo’s “evil” optical illusion dress on the red carpet has to be seen to be believed

The Evil The press tour was full of awe-inspiring moments — and Cynthia Erivo may have just delivered her most incredible red carpet look yet.

At the film’s premiere in Mexico City, Cynthia appeared alongside her co-stars in an incredible black Thom Browne dress that had her hands practically sprouting from her shoulders. Yes, really.

Here she is on the red (er, yellow) carpet alongside Ariana Grande…

And here she is with her arms outstretched to her side, creating a strange optical illusion that makes her look like she has four arms. Wow.

While this is Cynthia holding her real hands in front of her fake hands, it completely breaks my mind.

What a look – and one that Cynthia deserves a round of applause for.

I would say she deserves a “hand,” but in that regard she clearly already has more than enough. (Sorry, I’ll show myself.)
