Date, time and type of playback

It happens. The long-awaited fight between Jake Paul and boxing legend Mike Tyson is just around the corner, and while many purists hate it, millions of people will be watching the fight between the YouTuber-turned-boxer and a 58-year-old boxing icon.

Paul, 27, has a professional boxing record of 10-1 while competing primarily against MMA fighters who dabble in boxing. Paul’s only defeat came in February 2023 when he clashed with underclass boxer Tommy Fury, brother of Tyson Fury.

Since then, Paul has won four straight times, including three straight wins by TKO/KO.

Tyson is 50-6 with 44 KOs in his career and is the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history. However, Tyson has not competed in a sanctioned professional boxing match in 19.5 years.

The two men’s different ages and personalities have created a strange but undeniable element of intrigue. Combined with the accessibility of Netflix programming, the fight will likely be one of the most-watched combat sports events of all time.

Here’s how you can watch it.

  • Date: Friday, November 15th
  • Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
  • Streaming: Netflix
  • Location: Arlington Stadium in Arlington, Texas

The undercard

There are seven fights on the card, including three world title fights, promoted by Paul’s MVP Promotions.

  • Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul
  • (C) Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano for Taylor’s undisputed junior women’s welterweight championship
  • Neeraj Goyat vs. Whindersson Nunes
  • (c) Mario Barrios vs. Abel Ramos for Barrios’ WBC welterweight title
  • (c) Shadasia Green vs. Melinda Watpool for the vacant WBO women’s super middleweight title
  • Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington vs. Dana Coolwell
  • Lucas Bahdi vs. Corey Marksman

In the co-main event, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will reprise one of the greatest fights in women’s boxing history. The two greats will fight for Taylor’s unified junior welterweight title in the sequel.

Taylor, 38, and Serrano, 36, are both nearing the end of their careers as top fighters and champions. Both deserve this showcase and the payday that comes with it. We’ll also see up-and-coming starter Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington take on Dana Coolwell in what should be nothing more than an exciting match for the former.

Jaron “Boots” Ennis may be following the fights between Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos closely. Ennis successfully defended his IBF title against Karen Chukhadzhian on Saturday, and Boots may be interested in unifying the titles at 147 pounds.

Predictions and Comments

Many believe Tyson’s age will be his biggest Achilles heel, and it’s difficult to disagree with that opinion. Paul will likely look to use his age advantage by tiring Tyson out in the early rounds.

If this is Paul’s plan and he carries it out, he could defeat Tyson and even knock him out. Be sure to expect me to join millions of people worldwide.
