Game overview

Week 10 ends on Monday night with an intriguing showdown between the Dolphins and Rams – two teams that many had ruled out earlier in the season. However, both have gained momentum again in recent weeks and have created the conditions for an explosive duel.

Sean McVay’s Rams were revitalized by the return of star receivers Cooper Kupp And Puka Nacuawhich has strengthened their ability to sustain drives and retain leads. Since Kupp and Nacua were reintroduced to the lineup in Week 8, Los Angeles has posted two straight wins, both straight and against the spread. This stretch included a surprising win over Minnesota and a successful cover as away favorite against Seattle.

On the other hand, Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins have also received new energy with the return of Mike McDaniel Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, which gives the offense new impetus. Although they have yet to win since the return of their franchise quarterback, they erased the lead against Buffalo last week and improved to a solid 2-1 against the away team since October.

While Miami’s retooled offense hasn’t fully exploded yet, it has been extremely efficient. Over the last two weeks, the Dolphins led the NFL in EPA per game and had the league’s highest offensive success rate (46.8%). They also rank second in late-down conversion rate (66.7%), highlighting their ability to sustain drives and capitalize on key situations.

This will be a significant test for the young Rams defense, which has improved significantly and has been in the top four in EPA allowed per game since the start of October.

The Rams’ rookie class continues to thrive as they have found key contributors throughout, including their first-round edge defender Jared verse (Winner of PFF’s midseason Defensive Rookie of the Year) for uncovered free security Jaylen McCollough (who has three interceptions in the last three games), each of whom ranks in the top three overall among first-year defensive backs this season.

WR Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Over 70.5 receiving yards (-110)

Tua Tagovailoa And Tyreek Hill The chemistry is steadily building, with Hill quietly productive despite modest volume. Since Tua’s return, Hill has cleared his yard line in every game, averaging 2.34 yards per route run. Hill, who leads the Dolphins with 152 receiving yards during that span, has made the most of his 21.5% target rate, which is a relatively low rate by his standards.

While the Rams’ defense has improved overall, they continue to struggle in coverage and often allow big gains. They have allowed that yardage to five different receivers in the last four games. What’s remarkable is that they gave the Vikings’ star a total of 295 yards Justin Jefferson and Seahawks rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba in their last two meetings, suggesting Hill has a good opportunity for another productive outing.
