Driver in stolen car causes fatal multi-vehicle collision in Central Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash involving a stolen car in the Central Valley.

LVMPD reported that four vehicles were involved in a crash near Pecos and Flamingo on Friday, November 8th.

The driver of the car is said to have stolen the car the previous Friday. The suspect was reportedly traveling west on Pecos at a high rate of speed when he struck another car at the intersection.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.

One person was taken to hospital, where they later died. Another accident victim is in critical condition. Four other people are also being treated for their injuries.
