Elon Musk’s estranged trans daughter says she sees no ‘future’ in the US.

Elon Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson has spoken out following the results of the 2024 US presidential election.

On Wednesday (November 6), Republican candidate Donald Trump claimed victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, leading many women and members of the LGBT+ community to express their fear of regressive policies. One of those people was Musk’s 20-year-old transgender daughter, who is a strong supporter of transgender rights.

Musk has expressed his support for the now president-elect several times throughout his campaign and has voiced rumors that he could play a role in Trump’s administration.

After the election results were announced, Wilson wrote on Meta’s Threads platform: “I thought that for a while, but yesterday it was confirmed for me. I don’t see my future in the United States.

“Even if he only serves four years, even if anti-trans regulations magically don’t come into effect, the people who willingly voted for them aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.”

In 2022, Wilson filed a name change petition in California, stating in court documents that she “does not wish to be related to my biological father in any way.”

She recently spoke out against Musk in July, calling him an “absent father” and claiming he was cruel to her when she was young because of her queerness. In conversation with NBC NewsWilson called out her estranged father for claiming he was “tricked” into approving gender-affirming medical care for her.

“He was not tricked at all,” Wilson said, saying her father read through medical documents several times. “You save lives. Let’s not get this twisted. They definitely allowed me to develop.”

Wilson was active in threads throughout the election cycle, in which Musk made multiple media appearances in support of Trump.

“I’m sorry to everyone. “The future doesn’t seem to be turning out the way I hoped,” one of her posts said, as Trump began winning key swing states needed to secure the election, such as Pennsylvania.

“’Blame this population, blame this population.’ No. Blame the damn politicians and oligarchs who caused this. “Direct your anger at them,” reads one of her follow-up posts. “By the way, I’m not saying not to be mad at Trump supporters/voters, by all means go ahead, you got my point. If any of you are Trump supporters, you can go ahead and get me off my page right now.”

Throughout his campaign, Trump repeatedly addressed the issue of transgender health care, claiming that children were being subjected to “brutal” gender surgeries in schools.

“Kamala supports states that are able to take underage children and perform sex reassignment surgeries, take them away from their parents, perform sex reassignment surgeries and send them back home,” he said at one of his rallies in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

“Can you imagine being a parent and your son leaving the house and you saying, ‘Jimmy, I love you so much?’ “Have a nice day at school” and your son comes back with a brutal operation,” he added. “Can you even imagine that? What the hell is wrong with our country?”

In states where gender-affirming care is legal, those under 18 require parental consent. There is no evidence of children being operated on in schools.

However, Trump further amplified this claim as he also mentioned it to the conservative group Moms for Liberty.

“The transgender thing is incredible. Think about it. Your child goes to school and comes home a few days later with surgery. “The school decides what happens to your child,” he falsely claimed at the time.
