ESPN’s College GameDay team surprisingly had nice things to say about Georgia

Georgia Football is ready to take on No. 16 Ole Miss on the road today. Since it’s one of the biggest games of the college football weekend, everyone is making their official predictions.

The national media is pretty divided on who they predict will win this game, and it’s hard to blame them when Georgia is such a small favorite.

Although College GameDay is for the game against Alabama at LSU, the team still made their predictions for the Georgia game as well. Let’s see who they chose.

Desmond Howard: Ole Miss

Nick Saban: Georgia

Pat McAfee: Georgia

Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes (guest selection): Georgia

Lee Corso:Ole Miss

Kirk Herbstreit: Georgia

Much like the rest of the media, the GameDay crew is pretty split on who they think will win this game. Four of the members chose Georgia to win, while two chose Ole Miss.

Kirk Herbstreit had the best things to say about Georgia during his prediction. He emphasized that Georgia always plays best when their backs are against the wall and the country doubts them. UGA is still the favorite today, but about half the country expects the Rebels to pull off the upset. So I hope what Herbstreit said is true in this game and Georgia makes a statement against the Rebels.

The last time GameDay predicted a Georgia game was a few weeks ago when UGA played at Texas. And who did the GameDay crew predict back then? All five crew members picked the Longhorns as the winner. Luckily, they were wrong that day.

Hopefully this time the team is right and the Georgia fans celebrate a big win later this evening.
