It is none other than her famous father who co-produced the project.

She is a middle child

Nearly nine years after The Experts co-stars John Travolta and Preston’s wedding, the couple welcomed Ella Bleu into the world on April 3, 2000.

“To the sweetest girl in the world. You are magical in everything you do,” Preston wrote in a 2020 Instagram post dedicated to her daughter. The sweet saying accompanied a retro bathing picture of the mother-daughter duo.

As for dad, he gushed to People magazine in 2019, “She’s her own person. She is graceful, generous, poised, graceful and beautiful. I don’t know how she came to be, and I accept no honor other than to simply adore her. And maybe that’s a valuable contribution.”

Ella Bleu Travolta was the second child of the couple, who celebrated the birth of their first son, Jett Travolta, eight years before her birth, and the birth of their second son, Benjamin, ten years after her birth.

She got her start on the screen with her parents

Ella Bleu Travolta’s film career began in 2009 with the Disney comedy “Old Dogs”, in which both of her parents also starred – and of course that was no coincidence.

Actors Kelly Preston, Ella Bleu Travolta and John Travolta arrive at the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Old Dogs” held at the El Capitan Theater on November 9, 2009.

Her father first gave her the idea of appearing on screen when she was just five years old, but as he once explained during a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” she told him she wasn’t ready . When she changed her tune two years later, he wasted no time in securing her a role in a film he had been offered. And when Preston wanted to make it a family affair, he made that happen.

“It was, without a doubt, the best film experience I’ve ever had,” Preston said in an interview while promoting the film. “It was so much fun and it was just great to be able to star in her first film.”

Ella Bleu Travolta starred alongside her father again in 2019’s The Poison Rose before landing her first leading role in the yet-to-be-released Alice in Wonderland riff Get Lost.

She switched to music

John Travolta was also the driving force behind Ella’s musical career.

When the star, who has recorded a number of acclaimed albums throughout his career, learned that his daughter had written and recorded snippets of songs during the pandemic, he knew she had to do something with the material.

She honors her late mother and brother every year

Ella Bleu Travolta’s family has been rocked by tragedy more than once, but she continues to hold her lost loved ones close to her heart.

The first major loss occurred in 2009 when her big brother Jett, who had suffered from seizures his entire life, suffered a fatal seizure at age 16 while staying at the family vacation home in the Bahamas.

Every year she celebrates “Jetty’s” birthday by posting a photo from her childhood on social media along with a message of love for her late sibling.

In 2020, the family suffered another blow when Preston died at the age of 57 following a battle with breast cancer.

Just as she posts in Jett’s honor every year, Ella Bleu Travolta is dedicated to sharing her love for her mother every birthday and Mother’s Day that passes.

One of the songs on her new EP, “Little Bird,” pays homage to Preston with its music video featuring family footage.

“I think it’s different for every person who goes through loss, but for me personally it was just this pure message that I wanted to give to my mom because even though there can be so much support from everyone, sometimes there can be get in the way of how you really feel and how you want to convey those last words to that person or just convey a message to them,” she said during the third hour of TODAY.

“That was kind of my message from a baby bird to a mother bird and also to yourself, because you will always know what is right.”

She gets the best advice from her father

The professional encouragement Ella Bleu Travolta has received from her father over the years is a two-way street.

“He’s my biggest fan and I’m his biggest fan, so there’s a lot of support,” she explained in a 2023 chat with Parade. “It’s great. I’m constantly learning so much from him.”

She told the publication that he always has the best advice, but he doesn’t want her to follow it blindly.

“Whether I follow it or draw my own conclusions, he always encourages me to think for myself,” she said.
