Fortnite update 32.10 patch notes, downtime, Ice Spice delay, Marvel Rivals and Kicks | Gaming | Entertainment

UPDATE: Fortnite developer Epic Games has disabled matchmaking and taken the servers offline for the release of update 32.10.

With the game remaining offline until 11am GMT at the earliest, fans can now download and install the new update.

ORIGINAL: Fortnite fans are looking forward to the release of Update 32.10 on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Android and Nintendo Switch.

The first and only major Fortnite Remix update of the season arrives on November 13th. According to Epic Games, the update itself will be available to download and install around 9am GMT UK time, although fans won’t be able to enjoy the new content until after the server downtime has passed.

Fortnite matchmaking will be disabled around 8:30 a.m. GMT, while the game will go offline at 9:00 a.m. GMT for Update 32.10 maintenance.

There is no official end time for server maintenance, but downtime typically lasts 2-3 hours. This means that Fortnite should be back online by noon at the latest.

The news was announced by Epic Games on

The new update introduces Ice Spice to Fortnite Remix. As a reminder, Ice Spice performed at the recent end-of-season event.

As part of Ice Spice’s performance, Shark Island is transformed into Ice Isle. The POI is described as a “neon-lit, Y2K-soaked, abandoned mall with an ominous aura.”

Players can also defeat Ice Spice and collect her Grappler item and Mythic Rifle. The Ice Spice outfit will also be available in the item shop from November 14th, which is when the Ice Spice changes should come into play.

Unfortunately, it’s not all good news, as the new Kicks cosmetic has been delayed by Epic Games.

Kicks are shoes that can be equipped by players. Users can still unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but will not be able to equip it until a later date.

“We are delaying the release of Kicks in version 32.10 while we work on a visual issue,” explains Epic. “Players will continue to unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but will not be able to equip it.

“We are currently working on a solution and will inform you when kicks will be activated and published in the shop. We will provide further updates on this as we have new information.”

Elsewhere, there’s a chance to take a look at the upcoming Marvel Rivals skins confirmed for Fortnite. However, since hero shooter Marvel Rivals doesn’t release until December 6th, it’s more likely that the skins will come to the game next season.

Likewise, fans expect the new update to add files for the upcoming season-ending event where Juice WRLD will appear.

Of course, Update 32.10 will also bring a number of gameplay optimizations and bug fixes, which you can see in the patch notes below.

Fortnite update 32.10 patch notes (all issues in development and unconfirmed)…

GENERALLY

• Low resolution textures on Nintendo Switch

– We are looking for a solution for low resolution textures on Nintendo Switch. We will update this thread once we resolve this issue.

• Nintendo Switch players are having storage issues

– Nintendo Switch players without an SD card may encounter a low storage error message when patching or launching the game.

– We recommend using an SD card to expand your storage. However, if you don’t have one, you can free up storage space if necessary in your Switch’s System Settings -> Data Management menu.

• Built-in emotes may not appear in the My Locker loadout tab.

– While the expected result for the built-in emotes is to always be available in the My Locker Loadout tab (if available), some players may find that their built-in emotes are not showing. This is currently being investigated.

• Players cannot close the emote wheel without selecting an emote

– Players will find that after opening the emote wheel, they must perform an emote for the wheel to close.

• Incorrect emote order in the emote wheel.

– Emotes assigned to the Emote Wheel may appear in the wrong order, i.e. the wheel may appear to be rotated incorrectly.

• The style of outfits cannot be changed with customizable items.

– Some outfits (e.g. Football/NBA/NFL Outfits, Corrupted Legends, or LeBron James) are missing the Edit Number, Edit Country components, or the slider components in the Edit Style locker menu.

• Built-in emotes will not play in Creative/UEFN experiences.

– We are investigating an issue where built-in emotes, i.e. emotes tied only to specific outfits, are not playing in a Creative or UEFN experience.

• Splitscreen issue when player 2 logs out.

– We are aware of an issue where Player 1 loses controller functionality when Player 2 logs out in split-screen mode. We are working on a solution and will provide an update once the issue is resolved.

• Videos in the lobby play every time you start Amazon Luna.

– We are investigating an issue that causes the intro lobby videos to play on every launch for Amazon Luna players. We are working to resolve this issue in a future update.

BATTLE ROYALE

• Players may get stuck in Toggle Walk mode.

– Sometimes players may find their character stuck in Toggle Walk mode while attempting to run or swim at the intended pace. Sprinting is not affected.

• Structures cannot be edited while a DBNO player (down) is nearby.

– We are aware that players may not be able to edit structures while a DBNO or “Ailing” player is nearby and investigating.
