Georgia Tech RB injures ankle in game against Miami

Georgia Tech running back Chad Alexander was sidelined against Miami with an ankle injury.

Alexander suffered a 2-yard loss with 2:12 left in the second quarter when Yellow Jackets lineman Joe Fusile and Hurricanes defensive lineman Ahmad Moten Sr. fell on their ankles. He remained on the ground in pain after the game and was rescued from the field.

Georgia Tech is already playing without running back Jamal Haynes, who left with a concussion in the first quarter. Miami defensive tackle Simeon Barrow Jr. was also injured in the first quarter.
