Glen Powell looks for redemption in the first teaser for “Chad Powers.”

As part of Disney+’s exciting 2025 sizzle, we got a preview of a number of series coming to both Disney+ and Hulu in the coming year, including the upcoming comedy series Chad Powers, with Hollywood’s hottest star right now, Glen Powell. In the sneak peek, we see Powell as Russ Holiday, a once-promising quarterback whose career takes a nosedive due to a series of misdemeanors. In a bold attempt to reclaim his place at the top of the sport, Russ disguises himself as Chad Powers, a friendly and seemingly inexperienced player who tries out for a struggling Southern football team. The story is certainly full of humor and heart, and with the anthropomorphized capybara at the forefront of the series, it’s guaranteed to be a hit.




Powell doesn’t just play the lead role Chad Powers Either – he is also heavily involved behind the scenes in the series. As co-creator, co-writer and executive producer under his Barnstorm Productions banner, Powell is clearly giving his all to the project. He is joined by a star-studded creative team, including co-creator and executive producer Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and NFL legends Eli and Peyton Manningwho serve as executive producers through Omaha Productions. The series is inspired by a character originally created by former NFL quarterback Eli Manning for the ESPN+ docuseries Eli’s places.


What else is Glen Powell busy with these days?


At the moment, Powell is truly one of the busiest men in Hollywood as he is not only involved in his role in several exciting projects Chad Powers. Powell will also star in the revenge thriller Huntington led by John Patton Fordnext to it Margaret Qualley And Ed Harris. He is also interested in starring in the real-life legal drama Monsantonext to it Anthony Mackie And Laura Dernwhich is led by John Lee Hancock.

Powell is also starring in a secret film JJ Abrams next to Wednesday And Scream star Jenna Ortega, And perhaps most excitingly, he’s headlining a new take on the iconic piece Stephen King Novel, The running manwhich is led by Edgar Wright. Powell leads a stacked cast that includes William H Macy, Josh Brolin, Katy O’Brian, Michael Cera And Lee Pace.
