Gunmen opened fire in a bar in the center Mexico Ten people were killed and 13 injured, local authorities said on Sunday.

The attack occurred on Saturday in the historic city center of Santiago de Queretaro, in a region long spared from violence in neighboring states such as Guerrero. However, there have been some violent incidents in Querataro state in recent years, raising concerns among authorities.

Juan Luis Ferrusca Ortiz, the city’s public security chief, confirmed the attack and the number of victims. He said at least one person was arrested after the attack.

Ferrusca Ortiz said officers identified those responsible by tracing the license plates of the car the gunmen fled in, which was later abandoned and set on fire.

The video shows the screaming people throwing themselves on the ground and seeking refuge, stained with the blood of those who were shot.
