Here is the upcoming release date of Arcane Season 2 Part 2 on Netflix

After an interminable wait of three years, Arcane is back on Netflix. But you’ll no doubt quickly scroll through the three episodes released and wonder where the rest is.

Well, Arcane and Netflix are once again following the unique release schedule of a three-week release of three episodes each. This almost never happens on the service and I’m still not entirely sure how Arcane got them to agree to it, but yeah, they’re doing it again. This means that instead of having a months-long wait between parts like we see with other shows, it’s just a week:

  • Arcane Season 2 Part 1 – November 9th
  • Arcane Season 2 Part 2 – November 16th
  • Arcane Season 2 Part 3 – November 23rd

Three episodes each, for a total of nine, and yes, this is the final season and you don’t have to wait until 2027 for it to continue. Co-creator Christian Linke has previously spoken about why they are ending the series after just two seasons:

“We always had a certain story in mind. Look, you could have stretched it, I’m sure. But for us, it was always like we started with that thought. I think there is also a personal aspect as a creative. We’ve all seen the TV shows where the writers are clearly running out of juice. How inspired can you stay with the same thing and for how long? For us it’s been nine years with these characters. I think there’s a responsibility aspect to it as well, and we feel like that’s what we had in mind.”

I can definitely understand that, and from the sounds of it, Season 2 is just as good as Season 1, so you’ll want to come out on top. Arcane Season 2 currently has a 95% audience rating. There aren’t enough reviews yet for a Critics Rating, but so far they’re all positive, and it could be aiming for another perfect 100% rating like Season 1.

It will be difficult to judge the season until all nine episodes are out, and that may cause the results to fluctuate from here. But it seems clear that the three-year wait was worth it. And to be honest, I’m a little relieved that the story can now come to an end and we don’t have to wait another three years for a sequel. We Are Supposedly there will be more stories in the League of Legends universe than shows, but this one specifically will end. There are only over 100 more unfeatured champions available…
