Starbucks offers holiday cups for hot and cold drinks

Starbucks released a holiday-themed mug collection earlier this month to get the cheer going early.

Baristas prepare your drink in one of four different custom hot cup designs or a custom cold cup design, depending on the drink. Most, if not all, cup designs featured a cranberry red, the signature Starbucks green, or some white.

“We love finding these genuine moments of joy and coffee to inspire creatives,” Starbucks creative director Kristy Cameron said in a statement. “Whether it’s growing coffee trees, roasting beans, toasting cups or shining lights – we wanted to share the warmth of our coffee house and the anticipation of the red cups with our customers and partners.”

This year’s theme, “Merrier Together,” is a recognition of the community that the holidays bring when people come together through song, she said.

“We kept thinking about the idea of voices coming together, like our siren song,” Cameron said. “It feels musical in a way.”
