Here’s how to watch the hit film at home

The Wild Robot was a critical and commercial success and is available to purchase or rent on VOD now – you can also pre-order the Blu-Ray release

The wild robot was a huge success at the box office, but fans who missed it on the big screen can now watch it at home. The film was made available for VOD streaming on Amazon Prime and other rental services last month on October 15, even as the family film continues to perform at the box office.

The wild robot is based on a children’s book series by Peter Brown, originally published in 2016, and stars Lupita Nyong’o as Roz, a robot stranded on a forest island. Along the way, Roz meets animals like Finch, played by Pedro Pascal, Brightbill, played by Kit Connor, and Pinktail, played by Catherine O’Hara. The film was directed by Chris Sanders, who was acclaimed for films like Lilo and Stitch And How to train your dragon.

In addition to the digital VOD release, the film will be available to watch on Blu-Ray or DVD, with the physical release hitting stores on December 3, 2024. The wild robot received critical acclaim, scoring a rare 98% on both the Critics Tomatometer and the Audience Popcorn Meter.

The wild robot is available as 4K, Blu-Ray or DVD. It’s available to pre-order now and will ship on December 3rd.
