After a long break, the fifth season of “Yellowstone” continues today, Sunday, November 10th. The first new episode of what is known as Season 5b airs at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Paramount Network. Episode 9 is titled “Desire Is All You Need” and shows how the state of Montana is rocked by an event after which nothing will be the same again.

When Beth threatened her brother, she learned of another dirty secret in her family and that he also had an influence on her father. While Beth tried to convince her father that perhaps it was time to send Jamie to the “station,” he plotted with Sarah to remove his sister from the picture as well.

Why did Kevin Costner decide not to return to Yellowstone?

Costner announced in a June 20 post on Instagram that he would not be returning to “Yellowstone,” having previously said he would have liked to return for later seasons before Sheridan decided to move on to a new sequel.

The main reason was Costner’s desire to get his long-running project Horizon: An American Saga off the ground. Part one premiered at Cannes earlier this year. However, the film received less than positive reviews and only grossed $11 million in its opening weekend.
