Indiana showed promise in coach Mike Woodson’s third season at the helm, but missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time under Woodson. The Hoosiers posted a 19-14 record and ended their season with a 93-66 loss to Nebraska in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Championship. Indiana lost its leading scorer from last season, center Kel’El Ware, but has an NCAA contender in 6-foot-2 forwards Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako and the veteran presence of guard Trey Galloway.

SIU Edwardsville travels to Bloomington with a 95-42 win over Westminster (Mo.) in its season opener on Monday night. The Cougars are considered 28.5 point underdogs before Wednesday evening.
