What you should know

The Cleveland Cavaliers take a road trip to take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Cavaliers are currently having a perfect season and will undoubtedly want to continue.

The Cavaliers come into this game after oddsmakers set the over/under low at 220.5 last week, but even that ended up being too high. They secured a 105-100 W victory over the Nets on Saturday. Cleveland trailed 73-59 with 6:12 left in the third quarter, but still came back to secure the handy five-point victory.

The Cavaliers can attribute much of their success to Evan Mobley, who posted a double-double with 23 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Mobley a new career high in field goal percentage (90.9%).

Although they won, the Cavaliers struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with just four offensive rebounds. That’s the fewest offensive rebounds they’ve had since April.

Meanwhile, the Bulls can finally say goodbye to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 125-113 victory over the Hawks. Chicago trailed 44-26 with 9:55 left in the second quarter, but still took the narrow 12-point win.

Cleveland increased its record to 11-0 with the win, which was its sixth straight home win. As for Chicago, the win increased the record to 4-6.

This contest is shaping up to be a blast: The Cavaliers simply can’t miss this season, having made 52.8% of their field goals per game (they rank first overall in field goal percentage). However, things are different for the Bulls as they have only scored 45.5% of their goals this season. Given the Cavaliers’ significant advantage in this area, the Bulls must find a way to close this gap.

Looking ahead, the Cavaliers are the favorites in this game as the experts predict a win by 7.5 points. They could be worth a quick bet as they are sitting on a five-game series and covering the spread when they play on the road.
