MATCHUP

The Broncos travel to Kansas City for the second of two straight AFC road games. Denver will look to get back on the winning list as the team faces a division rival and the league’s last remaining undefeated team.

Denver’s defense, which currently ranks third in the league in points allowed per game (17.9), should be looking for another strong performance on Sunday. The Broncos’ defense, which has the second-most sacks in the NFL this season (31), will try to put pressure on quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The outside linebacker duo from Nik Bonitto And Jonathan Cooperwho leads the team with 11.5 total sacks, could look to add to his tally on Sunday. Denver’s secondary, led by cornerbacks Pat Surtain II And Riley Mosscould try to slow down several offensive weapons, including wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who was added before Week 8 and recorded two receiving touchdowns in Week 9.

Offensively, the Broncos will face a challenging Chiefs defense as they look for a rebounding performance. quarterback Bo Nixwho has now recorded the most passing yards by a rookie quarterback in franchise history, should aim for a strong performance in Week 10. Nix could try to distribute the ball to playmakers like the wide receiver Courtland Suttonwho has two straight games with 100 receiving yards for the first time in his career. The Broncos could also look to find success on the ground and at running backs in Week 10 Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin And Audric Estime could play a key role in this.
