The Rams have struggled to a .500 record through the first half of the season but are still in the NFC playoff hunt and in contention for the division title. After a dramatic overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday, the Rams have won each of their last three games, all by a margin of 10 points or less. Week 8’s win over the Minnesota Vikings proved that LA has what it takes to make the postseason, but they need to be consistent across the board to make that a reality again.

As of Monday, the Rams are second in the NFC West, a half-game behind the Arizona Cardinals for first place.

The Dolphins appear to be a much better team than they were a few weeks ago. With Tua Tagovailoa back leading the offense, Miami has shown some life and looks like a team that could contend for a playoff spot. However, their tough losses to the Cardinals and Buffalo Bills have pushed them further out of contention as they will look to end their three-game losing streak on Monday night.

The Dolphins are in third place in the AFC East, 4.5 games behind the first-place Bills.

The Dolphins are 12-2 against the Rams, although the Rams have not beaten Miami since 2001, when the team was home in St. Louis.

MY CHOICE: The Dolphins win 28-27
