Ivanka Trump may be planning to sit out her father’s second term, but another member of the Trump family seems eager to stay by Trump’s side: his 17-year-old granddaughter Kai Trump. Donald Trump Jr.’s teenage daughter celebrated her grandfather’s victory with a round of golf this weekend and posted an election night vlog the next day.

In the vlog, Kai gets her hair straightened and picks out a sparkly black dress before blowing up Mama Mia! soundtrack as she scarfs down some jerky on the way to Mar-a-Lago (apparently she thinks it’s the “best soundtrack ever”). While her grandfather collects votes, Kai makes fun of her friend Emma for loving Nutella and meets up with her cousins. In a postmortem apparently filmed after her golf outing with Elon Musk, she shared that she was “extremely proud” of Trump. “He will do it and make America great again,” she enthuses from her car. “He will do what is right for the people.”

Alongside Trump’s son Barron, who is just a year older than Kai and reportedly helped organize his father’s podcast blitz before the election, Kai seems very willing to help the Trump camp reach younger Americans . She’s always promoting her grandfather on Instagram and supporting her on her W” posted Trump’s favor. (In between recording her vlog, of course.)

In any case, it’s a little disturbing to see a young girl brimming with optimism about what could be the most misogynistic presidential campaign in history. I wonder if Kai has read Project 2025?
