Kamala Harris and celebs hold rally outside Philly Art Museum – NBC10 Philadelphia

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris held a star-studded rally outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Monday evening.

The rally included performances and appearances by pop star Lady Gaga, hip-hop artist Fat Joe, hip-hop producer DJ Jazzy Jeff, pop star Ricky Martin, hip-hop group The Roots, soul singer Jazmine Sullivan and Oprah Winfrey.

The event was Harris’ final campaign stop in Pennsylvania on Monday. Harris visited Scranton, Allentown, Reading and Pittsburgh earlier in the day.

Pennsylvania is considered a critical swing state that will play a crucial role in the outcome of the presidential election.

Which streets are closed for the Kamala Harris rally in Philly?

Road closures began in Philadelphia on Friday, November 1st and continued in the following locations at the following times:

Phase 1

  • Eakins Oval will be closed between Kelly Drive and Spring Garden Street from 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5

Phase 2

The following roads were closed at 8am on Saturday November 2nd and will remain closed until 8pm on Tuesday November 5th:

  • Kelly Drive (inbound) is closed from 12 p.mTh Road to Benjamin Franklin Parkway
  • Spring Garden Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and Kelly Drive
  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway (inner and outer lanes) between 22ndnd Street and 24thTh Street

Phase 3

The following roads will be closed from 5am on Monday, November 4th until 8am on Tuesday, November 5th:

  • The full width of Benjamin Franklin Parkway, beginning at 18th Street and extending west through Eakins Oval to 25th Street
  • 19th Street between Arch Street and Callowhill Street
  • 20th Street between Arch Street and Vine Street
  • 21st Street between Winter Street and Hamilton Street
  • 22nd Street between Winter Street and Spring Garden Street
  • 23rd Street between Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue
  • Spring Garden Street Tunnel
  • Spring Garden Street Bridge
  • Kelly Drive between Fairmount Avenue and Eakins Oval
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between the Falls Bridge and Eakins Oval
  • I-676, westbound exit at 22nd Street
  • Note: The exit to I-676 eastbound at 23rd Street remains open.

The stage takes place in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum as Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to end her campaign in the battleground state on Monday evening.
