Kevin Durant gives honest statement about Kyrie Irving before Suns-Mavs game

The Phoenix Suns will face the Dallas Mavericks in Texas on Friday evening.

Before the game, Kevin Durant spoke about his former teammate Kyrie Irving (h/t Landon Buford).

Durant: “I always thought Kyrie was a championship-level player; it’s been that way for the last 10 years… I just think he’s a complete player; “I feel like he has no weaknesses or gaps in his game, either physically or mentally. I think his approach to the game is just perfect.”

Durant and Irving were teammates on the Brooklyn Nets for four seasons.

However, the team failed to last in the playoffs and both players were replaced midway through the 2023 season.
