Korean actor Song Jae-rim was found dead in his apartment

South Korean actor Song Jae-rim was found dead in his Seoul apartment at the age of 39.

The incident occurred last Thursday afternoon, but the cause of death remains unclear. Local police said there is currently no evidence of crime. Korea Herald Reports.

The actor’s funeral will take place on Thursday at Yeouido St. Mary’s Funeral Hall in the South Korean capital.

The actor recently changed his Instagram profile message to read, “A long journey begins.”

Song began his career as a model and walked the runway for designers like Juun. J, Herin Homme and Ha Sang Beg.

Although his acting debut dates back to 2009, he had his breakthrough role in the 2012 drama series The Moon Embracing the Sun. He also starred in Two Weeks (2013) and Our Gap-soon (2016-2017).

The song also appeared in music videos for several K-pop stars including 2NE1, KARA, BOA and After School.
