Live 2024 Connecticut presidential election results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Connecticut for the state’s seven Electoral College votes. The Liberal state has voted for the Democratic candidate in the last two elections. Trump’s campaign focus was on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden left office, Harris has argued that she would usher in a new era and has worked to improve the care economy, protect abortion rights and uphold democracy. In 2020, Biden won Connecticut with 59% of the vote versus 39% for Trump. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won Connecticut with 55% to Trump’s 41%. The last time the solidly blue state voted for a Republican presidential candidate was in 1988.
