LIVE Discussion: Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

The rivalry between Brooklyn and Boston was short-lived and there is no question whether the Celtics won the battle – during the era of Paul Pierce and KG (Brooklyn), during the era when Kyrie Irving played on Lucky. They are defending champions and are living up to expectations at the start of the season. On the other hand, Brooklyn exceeds expectations and fights night after night.

This game has the potential to be a trap game that few expected – or one of those where the Nets exit early and decide to give some players a run for their money in the second half with a fight against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday to take a break.

The game: It’s always valuable to see how you can compete with the best. You can see how far you have come and how far you still have to go to be competitive. And it’s fun!
