Mel Kiper shakes up the rankings of the Big Board’s top 25 players for the 2025 NFL Draft after Week 10

Another week of college football is upon us and ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has released another update to its 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. And while most of the players making up the top 25 remained static, the order remained unchanged.

A player who wasn’t ranked in the previous Big Board has moved into the top 25 this week. This led to the ESPN analyst mixing things up and even moving someone else up a spot.

Below you’ll find Kiper’s full top 25 big board rankings.

Kiper still hasn’t decided on a specific position on Hunter. One has to imagine that the debate will continue until the team designing it comes up with a concrete name.

But Hunter is still the No. 1 player in the ESPN analyst forum. Both the cornerback and the wide receiver have outstanding characteristics.

Johnson has been dealing with an injury in recent weeks and has not played since the Nov. 19 loss to Illinois. Michigan’s defense certainly missed him, but when you think about the big future, the injury isn’t a big factor.

Many NFL teams will be eager to select Johnson in April. If it weren’t for Hunter, he would undoubtedly be the best cornerback in the 2025 class.

Abdul Carter, the Nittany Lions defensive end. (Pimple/BWI)

A Penn State outside linebacker wearing number 11 will definitely draw comparisons. Carter could be selected higher than Micah Parsons it was and ended up in third place overall.

The transition from off-ball to on-ball was smooth for Carter. He has 11.5 TFLs and six sacks to his name, leading the Nittany Lions in both by a wide margin.

Williams has been on the NFL’s radar for quite some time. At one point, the Georgia pass rusher was considered the favorite to go No. 1 overall. There isn’t too much of a decline here, with Kiper in fourth place.

Traits have been Williams’ greatest strength, but production has also begun to show itself. Injuries have been part of the story, but staying healthy and keeping up with Georgia will surely only improve Williams’ condition.

Graham is one half of the best defensive tackle duo in college football and is considered the better one. NFL franchises can never put enough elite talent through the middle and Graham plans as a unit.

Kiper states that he would like to see Graham’s pass-rush skills shine as he finishes out the year. However, everything he does from a technical perspective is a real eye-catcher.

Kelvin Banks
Kelvin Banks (Will Gallagher/Inside Texas)

Only one offensive tackle makes Kiper’s top 10, with Banks taking the win. Banks has been a solid left winger for Texas since his freshman season, having been a starter for three years.

An offensive lineman from Texas hasn’t been drafted in the first round since 2022. A long streak is expected to come to an end when Banks learns his name will be chosen.

One of the best matchups of the season could be the game between No. 6 and No. 7 Kiper. Scourton has turned heads since arriving in College Station and has been a regular in the backfield.

Texas A&M has Scourton from Purdue about the NCAA Transfer Portal before the year. It may have been the offseason move as Scourton is becoming a household name.

Starks, another player who has been special since his freshman season, is finally eligible for the draft. Now in the midst of his third season, the consistency in Georgia’s defense is tremendous.

No other safety ranks in the top 25 for Kiper, let alone the top 10. Someone from that position hasn’t been ranked in the top 10 since Jamal Adams in 2017.

For several seasons, NFL teams have moved away from selecting running backs with high first-round picks. But trends have changed recently and Jeanty has a chance to be next.

Jeanty still has plenty of games left this season, some of which could end up on the national stage. Coming to New York City would also be a major accomplishment and might get him up a few draft boards.

Walker is the second Georgia pass rusher selected by Kiper in the top 10. This is where the numbers really start to explode as Walker leads the team with 4.5 sacks, adds 5.5 TFLs and forces two fumbles.

As Kiper’s rankings show, good pass rushers are valued at the top of the draft. Walker has the potential to be a special player no matter where he ends up.

Players No. 11 to 25

11. Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders
12. Miami QB Cam Ward
13. Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan
14. Tennessee OLB James Pearce Jr.
15. Michigan DT Kenneth Grant
16. Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen (+1)
17. Oregon DT Derrick Harmon (NR)
18. Missouri WR Luther’s burden
19. LSU OT Will Campbell
20. East Carolina CB Shavon Revel
21. Minnesota OT Aireontae Ersery (-5)
22. Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison (-1)
23. Penn State TE Tyler Warren (-1)
24. Michigan TE Colston Loveland
25. Ohio State OT Josh Simmons (-2)

And with less than a month left in the college football season, there’s still a lot of movement on Kiper’s big board.
