Missouri takes on Howard in the home opener

The Missouri Tigers are looking to bounce back after their opening loss on the road against the Memphis Tigers.

Missouri appeared strong and capable of winning in the first half at FedExForum, but completely collapsed in the second half. They lost in an all-too-similar fashion to many of the previous season’s games, leaving a sour taste in the mouth of Tiger fans.

The Tigers now want to start the new season’s winning streak in their home opener against the Howard Bison. Follow below for updates during the game between the two teams.

13:48 Missouri 8, Howard 0: Both teams are on a losing streak with ugly basketball full of turnovers and high-intensity defense. Mark Mitchell broke the dry spell with two free throws.

17:35 Missouri 6, Howard 0: Throws from Annor Boateng, Tamar Bates and Mark Mitchell gave the Tigers an early lead. These were Boateng’s first college points in his career.
