During the team’s overwhelming 8-1 start, Durant averaged 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from three.

Of course, replacing him in the Suns’ lineup is nearly impossible. The responsibility falls on Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to make up for more deficits in terms of play and points. As for replacing his minutes, Royce O’Neale figures to get more playing time on the field at the 4 with KD gone.

The Suns will host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night without Durant.
