Netanyahu calls ongoing investigation into PMO leak case an “attack” – Israel News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Sunday, he said his office was under “savage and relentless attack” as suspects were arrested and their detention was extended.

During the statement, Netanyahu criticized the media’s “fake news” and called the ongoing investigations “lies and baseless slander.”

Furthermore, he described the developments as “attempts to intimidate me and my people… to create stories out of nothing.”

The ongoing scandal has rocked Netanyahu’s office, with allegations of security mismanagement and deliberate manipulation of sensitive information.

Netanyahu noted that scandal allegations were untimely because they were made as the government “works tirelessly to repel our enemies who seek our destruction and tirelessly strives to defeat them.” While waging war and repelling international attacks from various fronts,” he added.
