Netanyahu is to be investigated for leaks in office: reports

Israeli media reported on Friday that Baharav-Miara’s green light meant that the investigative authorities could also investigate Netanyahu.

On Sunday, the Zionist regime’s Shin Bet agency announced the arrest of several people, including a spokesman for Netanyahu, over leaks related to the genocidal war in Gaza.

The leak of the top-secret documents would have caused “significant damage” to efforts to free Israeli prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza, an Israeli judge said.

Netanyahu has denied that his office was involved, claiming in a statement that no one from his office had been questioned or arrested.

Meanwhile, reports on Thursday said Netanyahu’s office had separately collected sensitive surveillance camera videos of recently fired military minister Yoav Gallant and a military officer who worked in the prime minister’s office.

According to the reports, the matter appears to be related to other scandals surrounding Netanyahu’s office in recent days.

The Israeli prime minister’s office once again denied reports of leaked materials, calling them “slander.”

The developments come as the Zionist regime continues its devastating war on Gaza, which began on October 7 last year and left more than 43,500 Palestinians dead.
