New York Jets: Sauce Gardner vs. Marvin Harrison Jr. on Sunday

When the Arizona Cardinals selected wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the 2024 NFL Draft, the hope was that he would develop into one of the league’s truly elite receivers. He’s shown flashes so far, like his 130-yard game against the Los Angeles Rams and his 111-yard game against the Miami Dolphins, but the consistency hasn’t been there. In another game he only exceeded 50 yards.

This week marks a new test for Harrison as he will face the New York Jets’ elite secondary, which includes perennial All-Pro candidate Sauce Gardner at cornerback. The Cardinals selected Harrison in hopes that he could dominate in games like this. So you can imagine this game being on his calendar all year round.

On the other hand, this is an opportunity for Sauce to capture a rising star and remind everyone how good he is when he’s at his best.

Overall, this is one of the most intriguing matchups of the week and I’ll be watching it closely on Sunday.

Additionally, this showdown between Gardner and Harrison will likely have a big impact on the outcome of the game, as the Cardinals are 2-0 when Harrison clears 100 yards. If Sauce can limit Harrison’s success, it should give the Jets a great chance to win.

What do you think? Will Gardner defeat Harrison or will it be the other way around on Sunday?
