Next Google Pixel 9 update leaked from Verizon, with display details and Bluetooth fixes

The next Pixel update was accidentally announced early by a Verizon support page that detailed all of the fixes for the Google Pixel 9 lineup, as well as older Pixel 6, 7, and 8 devices.

The patch was first spotted by 9to5Google and was supposed to be released on November 5th, according to the Verizon site. However, the update is not yet available at the time of writing. However, we expect it to launch soon and with version AP3A.241105.008 it will bring the following improvements to your Pixel 9 smartphone:

  • Security
    • Provides the latest Android security patches to your device.
  • Bluetooth
    • Fixed an issue with Bluetooth range under certain conditions.
  • camera
    • Fixed an issue with camera tilt when zooming between cameras under certain conditions.
  • Sensors
    • Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented Adaptive Brightness from activating under certain conditions.
  • Touch
    • Fixed an issue that occurred when pressing the keyboard close button under certain conditions.
  • user interface
    • General performance and stability improvements for certain UI transitions and animations.
  • Display and graphics
    • Fixed an issue that caused white dots to flash under certain conditions.

The AP3A.241105.007 update for the Google Pixel 6, Google Pixel 7, and Google Pixel 8 devices contains fewer stability fixes and instead only contains the following details:

  • The latest Android security patches on your device.
  • General performance and stability improvements for certain UI transitions and animations.
