NFL DFS Best Plays for Week 10 (Fantasy Football)

Each week we’ll review some of the content included in DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays on Sunday. A lot can change over the weekend, especially if there is injury news (see Betz’s Injury Blitz podcast) and roster percentages shift as to who is in or out before the roster lockout. Let’s take a look back.

  • Blocked cash plays
  • CORE pieces
  • Game decks we love
  • Complete Fades of the Week
  • Favorite leverage plays
  • Favorite dart throws
  • The boldest calls of the week

Locked In Cash Games

Borg – I can’t imagine ignoring it Aaron Jones ($6700) in cash this week. Minnesota is a TD favorite on the road and the Jaguars are arguably the worst defense in the league. He’s averaging the most snaps and opportunities per game in his career and should easily make $1,000 more. I have him outgunned (based on my own average projections) on 16.5 rush attempts and 4.3 targets, for a total of 27.3 weighted chances. If you’re a fan of weighted odds, he’s in the elite group this week.

Betz – No Olave, no Shaheed, no Bub Means, no Cedrick Wilson, no Jamaal Williams, no Kendre Miller. It’s impossible to scroll past it Alvin Kamara ($8,100) on this list after the guy saw 38 opportunities a week ago. THIRTY EIGHT!

DraftKings core games

These are the 3-5 players at each position that we have mixed in our cash player pool. Due to salaries, late notices, and budget constraints, it’s guaranteed that you won’t be able to accommodate all of them. But their high floors and team totals make them great plays this week in both cash and GPP values.

These are simply listed in order of most popular core players. Obviously, you won’t be able to fit everyone on a cash statement, and there are salary trade-offs for pay at every position.

DraftKings QB BORG BETZ
1 Brock Purdy Brock Purdy
2 Justin Herbert Justin Herbert
3 Sam Darnold Sam Darnold
4 Jayden Daniels Aaron Rodgers
5 Aaron Rodgers MacJones

We’re really just thinking about two QBs in cash – Brock Purdy with the Niners having an implied team total score of nearly 30 points or Justin Herbert at home against the Titans. It’s a pricing thing this week where we need to save money in a few places – we’d love to play Hurts, Daniels or Allen, but without much value at WR and some incredibly strong RB play up front, see the savings at QB from necessary for cash games.
