NFL Week 10 picks, best bets

Could the New York Jets’ hard-fought home win last week against Houston have been a positive catalyst for the season’s turnaround?

Only time will tell.

However, if the Jets can pick up a road win against Arizona this weekend, a possible backdoor playoff berth will be much easier to digest since their remaining schedule is fairly straightforward.

Let’s break down our Jets vs. Cardinals predictions and NFL picks for Sunday, November 10th.

Jets vs. Cardinals prediction

(4:25 p.m. ET, CBS)

It was a tough first half of the 2024 regular season for the Jets, who lost six games, including four by a margin or less.

A win in the AFC East is probably out of the question considering they are four games out of first place, but the Jets’ season is far from over.

In fact, they have little chance of securing a wild card spot as Cincinnati lost another game on Thursday night, falling to 4-6 on the season.

Additionally, the Denver Broncos, currently in the final Wild Card spot, face the undefeated Chiefs this week and a formidable Falcons team next week.

Despite the brutal start to the season, the Jets are just two games away from the playoffs. And his recent 21:13 win against the USA could be the start of a winning streak.

Arizona has now won three games in a row against Chicago, Los Angeles (Chargers) and Miami.

The Cardinals are now over .500 and a half game ahead of Los Angeles (Rams) in the NFC West.

In short, there is a lot at stake in this non-conference matchup.

And that’s why I’m going to target the bottom in this game.

We saw a much more motivated and inspired Jets defense last week, holding a talented Texans offense to just 13 points.

And while the Jets have looked better on both sides of the ball, they still haven’t topped the 22 points they’ve scored in the last six games, including two games with Davante Adams in the lineup.

Betting on the NFL?

The Jets’ secondary hasn’t quite lived up to its lofty expectations this season, but is still a great unit, boasting the fourth-best coverage grade (PFF) and both opponent passing yards per game and opponent completion percentage took second place.

Sure, James Conner and Kyler Murray will pick up some yards on the ground, but the Jets defense seems more motivated and did a good job against Joe Mixon last week.

It should be a tough, low-scoring affair on Sunday.

Best Bet: Under 46.5 (-110, DraftKings)
