Brown continues to lead Boston with 26 points as the Celtics hold a 91-84 lead over the Hawks after three quarters. Clint Capela led the Hawks with 18 points and nine rebounds, approaching a double-double.


George is on fire in the first half ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Paul George led all Philadelphia scorers with 17 points on 6-for-9 shooting, including 3-4 from three. He also had five rebounds and three steals at halftime.

Joel Embiid scored eight points in his season debut, all from the free throw line. Ultimately, however, the Knicks are ahead 54:50 after two quarters.


Thunderous start in Milwaukee โšก

Brook Lopez spins and knocks him down with a two-handed slam to open the score against the Raptors.

The Bucks are out to a 14-7 lead, with Lopez leading the way with six scorers.


More OG dunks ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Anunoby storms through the lane and receives the feed from Towns after an offensive rebound, which he then hits into the goal.

This dunk currently sits at the top of the NBA’s nightly dunk results.


White2๏ธโƒฃBrown

The alley-ups keep coming. This time, Derrick White finds Jaylen Brown for the stuff.

At halftime, the Celtics had a 65-54 lead over the Hawks. Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting, while Jayson Tatum (13) and White (14) were both in double figures. Jalen Johnson led Atlanta with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.


More Oops in Motown

With all eyes on Cade, he finds the wild Jalen Duren for the alley-oop.

The Pistons and Miami are tied at 47 as halftime approaches.


OG and hard for the oop ๐Ÿ”—

Hart hits the alley-oop to OG, who throws him down for a two count.

The Knicks opened up a 22-15 lead against the 76ers late in the first round. Philadelphia struggled to get its offense going, shooting 1-for-8 from three goals. Joel Embiid is scoreless with 5:26 left in his return game.


Brown cooks early ๐Ÿณ

Jaylen Brown is off to a fast start, with 12 points on 4-8 shooting, including this jam coming into the paint.

However, towards the end of the first quarter, the Hawks had a 23-21 lead.


Defenseโžก๏ธAttack

A block from Cade Cunningham puts the Pistons on the counterattack as Tobias Harris picks up the loose ball and finds Jaden Ivey, who finishes at the rim.

The Pistons have a 23:17 lead over the Heat at the start, with Harris leading all scorers with nine points on 4:6 shooting.

Jalen Suggs is on fire early as he hits this three-pointer just a step away from the logo. Suggs is 5-5 from the field, including 3-3 from deep, and has 13 points so far.

Taj Gibson receives the feed from Lonzo Ball and goes to the hole for the slam to put the Hornets on the field against Orlando.

The Magic currently lead 13-10 at the start of the first quarter.


Cade in the building ๐ŸŸ

Cunningham has found his groove this season and recently posted three straight triple-doubles. He also became only the sixth NBA player since steals began being recorded in the 1973-74 season to record 3,000 points, 900 assists and 150 steals in 150 games or fewer. His company is LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Allen Iverson, Grant Hill and Isiah Thomas. This is an elite company.

Keaton Wallace gets the nod for the Hawks as Trae Young (Achilles) is out of action tonight.

Wallace and Atlanta will have a tough task in Boston as they take on the reigning NBA champs when Emirates Cup action begins.

This season every team has a new home ground, especially for the Emirates Cup games. Check out some of them before the teams take the stage tonight.


3๏ธโƒฃImportant storylines for tonight ๐Ÿฟ

  1. The Emirates NBA Cup 2024, known as the NBA in-season tournament last year, begins tonight. All 30 teams have a chance to achieve glory by being divided into six five-team divisions and their separate East and West Conferences.   2. Joel Embiid will make his season debut after treating a knee injury and serving a suspension. Embiid and the 76ers host the New York Knicks as part of East Group A in the Emirates NBA Cup. You can watch the game live on TNT at 7:30 p.m. ET.
  3. The Warriors want to stay hot against the Mavericks. Golden State got off to a 7-1 start, including a road win against the 9-2 Celtics, before falling to the Cavaliers. They recovered quickly and showed that their start was no fluke with a win over the Thunder. They host the Mavericks, who narrowly lost their last two games to the surging Nuggets and 8-2 to Phoenix. Oh, and it’s also the return to The Bay for Klay Thompson.
