REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-11070134, 900 block of N. Stafford Street. On November 7th at approximately 2:34 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the male suspect entered the store and inquired about purchasing goods. The suspect then threatened an employee with a knife, stole cigarettes and then fled the scene on foot. Officers on scene conducted a search of the area which produced negative results. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, wearing a gray hat, black face covering, white T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2024-11070034, 1700 block of N. Troy Street. At approximately 6:52 a.m. on November 7, police were dispatched to a late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect(s) forcibly gained entry to the store during the overnight hours by breaking a window, stealing power tools and electronics, and then fleeing the scene. No descriptions of the suspects are available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
