Observations from the Detroit Lions’ Week 10 win over the Houston Texans

Streaking: The Lions won their seventh straight game, tying the single-season franchise record. They have also won five times in a row on the road, setting a new record streak in a single season. Under head coach Dan Campbell, Detroit is now 8-2 in primetime games. After playing four of their last five road games, including tough games at Minnesota, Green Bay and Houston, the Lions play four of their next five games in a friendly at Ford Field, starting Sunday against Jacksonville (2-8).

Good company: Running back Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 71 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards for a total of 108 scrimmage yards against the Texans. He joined Barry Sanders (1993) as the only players in franchise history to record 70 or more scrimmage yards in each of the first nine games of a season.
