Ohio State Buckeyes pull off electrifying blocked punt against Purdue

The Ohio State Buckeyes entered today’s game against the Purdue Boilermakers as the overwhelming favorites.

Early in the game, Ohio State started off a little slow offensively. Their first drive ended in a punt. However, the defense played well.

Defensively, the Buckeyes forced punts on each of Purdue’s first two drives. On the second punt, Ohio State came through with an electrifying play.

Caden Curry, a defensive end for the Buckeyes, was able to block the punt. That blocked punt ultimately led to a rushing touchdown by Will Howard, giving Ohio State an early 7-0 lead over the Boilermakers.

Take a look at the blocked barge for yourself:

This is exactly the type of game the Buckeyes needed. Even though they were still in good shape, this is the type of game that can provide the momentum for a massive all-around game.

Looking at Ohio State’s future, they appear to have an easy ride in the College Football Playoff. Ryan Day and Co. are among the top contenders for the national championship.

Of course, it’s just the current state of things. The Buckeyes still have to take care of business in their final four games of the regular season.

Things are looking good so far today. After the blocked punt they have a lot of momentum and excitement. Hopefully this is just the start of a big game for Ohio State.

Stay tuned as we will be releasing numerous updates throughout the game and after the game as well.
