OTT’s latest thriller The Buckingham Murders is a total disaster

The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta and starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, has received mixed reviews since its release on Netflix.

The film tells the story of Jass Bhamra, a police officer in Buckinghamshire who investigates the disappearance of a child.

The film aims to address the themes of immigration struggles and delve deep into emotional and social issues.

While the concept of the film is commendable, its execution seems botched and people are expressing their disappointment over it.

Kareena Kapoor’s performance as the grieving mother was widely praised and the public recognized her as a standout character in the cast.

However, the film’s slow pace and predictable plot twists were heavily criticized.

Although The Buckingham Murders tries to set the stage, it fails to resonate with OTT audiences, making it a missed opportunity for its makers.
