Pamela Anderson goes monochrome at the Miami Film Festival

Pamela Anderson made a case for monochrome clothing at the 2024 Miami Film Festival this fall. The actress attended a screening of her latest film, “The Last Showgirl,” and accepted the Art of Light Award, which honors film artists “whose exemplary work sheds new wonders on the continuing evolution of cinema.”

Anderson wore an argyle turtleneck, a white button-down shirt and an ivory wool coat by Brunello Cucinelli, with diamond studs and metal peep-toe heels.

Directed by Francis Ford Coppola’s granddaughter Gia Coppola, “The Last Showgirl” premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in early September.

The new drama follows Las Vegas showgirl Shelley, played by Anderson, in the weeks leading up to the closure of Sin City’s last remaining traditional floor show. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Brenda Song, Dave Bautista, Kiernan Shipka and Jason Schwartzman, the film features music by Andrew Wyatt, songwriter and music producer for Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and Lorde, among others.

On Tuesday, WWD exclusively announced the launch of Anderson’s new skincare product, a cleanser from her vegan line Sonsie.

“I start every day when I’m home in my rose garden, so I thought, ‘How do I bring this?'” Anderson said. “I make a rosehip oil, and I wanted to incorporate that into the skincare line.”

The Rosehip Essence Cleansing Mousse retails for $32 and contains ginger root extract and natural bisabolol, which reduces inflammation.

“It’s light enough and nourishing enough that it doesn’t strip your face, which was really important to me,” Anderson added. “I have super sensitive skin and my skin has never been better without wearing so much makeup and just the products. My skin is getting better and better.”
