Phoenix Suns reveal starting lineup against Dallas Mavericks

The Phoenix Suns will field the following starting five tonight against the Dallas Mavericks:

Tyus Jones
Bradley Beal
Devin Booker
Kevin Durant
Yusuf Nurkic

The Suns had both Beal and Booker placed on the injury report before the game. Beal was listed as probable last night with a right elbow sprain, while Booker was added due to illness just under two hours before game time.

Phoenix is once again led by Tyus Jones, who leads the league with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 6.8. As a secondary option in the starting lineup, Jones also averages 8.9 points per night.

Suns coach Mike Budenholzer confirmed that Beal is expected to play in Dallas tonight. Although he has been dealing with the elbow injury for a few games now, he has been available for the most part.

As for Booker, he hasn’t missed a single game for Phoenix and will continue to do so even after surprising everyone with his illness before the game. It will be interesting to see if Booker’s minutes are limited or impacted at all tonight.

Durant played some of his best basketball to date despite his age, hitting countless shots to help Phoenix maintain its six-game winning streak since Friday night. He is currently in the top ten in scoring with 27.8 points per night.

Early in the season, Nurkic experienced some weakness in terms of his game, although he responded quite well, grabbing 15+ rebounds in each of his last three games.

Tip-off between the Suns and Mavericks is at 5:30 p.m. local time.
