Pokémon TCG Pocket datamine leak contains details about several upcoming events and dates

A new set of Pokémon Trading Card Game pocket datamines appear to detail several upcoming events and dates for when new cards will be added to the game – including the next major set.

As an anonymous leaker and several other sources said, the Pokémon TCG Pocket will host weekly events through the end of December, and the next full set release, following Genetic Apex, will begin sometime in early 2025. We don’t have any confirmation on all of these details yet, but given how frequently the game is updated, at least some of this information is likely true.

Accordingly a current post and a larger datamin on October 25th, Pokémon TCG Pocket will reportedly have a smaller, special booster pack added to the game on December 17th. This will probably be closer to Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1 released during the Lapras ex Drop eventwith a selection of exclusive cards, although it could be different.

The next core set following TCG Pocket’s Genetic Apex starter packs will reportedly release on either January 30 or February 1, 2025.

No confirmation has been made yet, but one regular Datamine participant claims that there will be around 230 new cards, likely not counting Secret Rare cards. For reference, Genetic Apex has 226 normal cards and 60 secret cards, for a total of 286 cards across all three packs.

While we wait for confirmation of the next set, the Pokémon TCG Pocket appears to be rolling out additional events throughout November and December Miracle selection And Genetic Apex emblem Events. Here is a complete list of datamined events we could see in the near future.

A new card rarity could also be added to the game in the future, along with a Rare Picks option for Wonder Picks, although this was not included in the larger datamine.
