Police identify four of five dead after plane crash in Mesa near Falcon Field

MESA, AZ – Mesa officials say five people were killed in a plane crash near Falcon Field Tuesday afternoon in Mesa.

According to police, the accident occurred near Greenfield and McKellips roads.

Aerial photos showed the fire plane and at least one damaged vehicle.

On Wednesday morning, Mesa police released the names of the four people on the plane who died in the crash.

They were 43-year-old Spencer Lindahl, 48-year-old Rustin Randall, 44-year-old Drew Kimball and 12-year-old Graham Kimball.

Flight tracking website FlightRadar24 showed the flight was en route to Provo when it crashed.

ABC15 viewer Terri Fairfield was hiking in Usery Mountain Regional Park when she saw the smoke minutes after the crash.

The driver of the vehicle, which also died, has not yet been identified.

It is not yet known what caused the crash.

The NTSB is now investigating the crash.
